I now use art as a hobby rather than expecting to make any money from it. It can be a kind of therapy. I have sold a few things along the way but would not want the pressure of being a commercial artist. Don't know if I can cope with the pressure of being a commercial writer but that's another story...

Anyway, here's a bit of a selection.

Cats
Cats on a wall - ink on handmade paper 9k     Cats in the hearth - Watercolour 13k

I've always loved cats and have a great affinity to the animal (and a tiger tattoo! - see bike page). Unfortunately I don't have a cat living with me at the moment, but a very bouncy dog (see Mika's Page). So I paint cats now instead and haven't got round to painting the dog, she won't keep still for long enough.

Stones

Rainbow Stones - Watercolour 11k     Moonlight Stones - Watercolour 8k     Sunrise Stones - Watercolour 13k

I've also always had a huge fascination for standing stones, ancient or modern. I love stone circles, stone heads, monoliths, megaliths, engraved with spirals or runes, temples or burial grounds. Love them all. The 'Stone Dreaming' picture on my
Art Page is the first of many versions and leads nicely to my 'Tribal Dance' series (Tribal Art Page).

And I have been known to do the occasional piece of temporary sculpture on the beach. This is Glastonbury Tor, Stonehenge, Avebury and a dolem with leylines running in between - on a beach in Benidorm, December 2001.
